John Blaze is overcome with grief over the death of Roxanne. With Roxanne gone he needs to find his missing children so he goes to Clara to see if her gift can help him. Instead of locating his children she discovers that Centurius is alive. John goes after him but first he stops to tell Steel Wind that she must be gone when he returns and that her master Centurius is still alive. Centurius' demon captures John but before he can kill him Steel Wind arrives and saves him. Together John and Steel Wind defeat Centurius. John convinces Steel Wind that she can help regain her humanity by forgiving Centurius and not killing him. She agrees and leaves. John then turns and kills Centurius. At the end John vows to rebuild the Carnival so that Craig and Emma will have a life to return to when he finds them.
