Giggle Comics #58 is an anthology containing multiple humorous stories. "Fremont Frog" features a frog who resembles a dangerous escaped convict named Dandy Kzerkle; when animal characters encounter him, they initially mistake him for the killer, but eventually recognize he is harmless and is actually the grandson of their friend Pappy. Another story involves a man in a leopard-skin outfit who is mistaken for Tarzan; complications ensue when he encounters various people, including his wife, who are confused by his costume and the appearance of strange animals. The issue promises 4,617 laughs and showcases the typical slapstick and pun-driven humor characteristic of the series.

Old Mother Hubbard suspects a thief is stealing her dog Fido’s bone from the cupboard, leading her to interrogate the butler, cook, and even her cat, Chives, who denies involvement. When a photo taken with a homemade camera trap reveals the cat in the act, it turns out she’s a sleepwalker—unwittingly stealing bones while asleep.
