Giggle Comics #97 is an anthology issue featuring Spencer Spook in the "Giggle Parade," a story about a bird nest falling from a tree, resolved when the mother bird takes care of it. The issue also includes "The Duke and the Dope," where the Duke must deal with a falling bird nest while the Dope attempts various tricks, ultimately resulting in chaos when dishes break and the Dope claims to need quills. The back pages contain advertisements for Prince Valiant 3-D figurines, stamp collections, and other mail-order collectibles.
