In "Punizione," the X-Men confront Wolverine over his violent actions against Rachel, who was attempting to kill Selene. When Rachel discovers another of Selene’s victims, her rage turns on Wolverine, leading her to throw him in front of a subway train—only for Kitty to rescue him in time. As the X-Men and the Hellfire Club race to intercept Phoenix, they’re suddenly blocked by the relentless Nimrod.
