Golden Arrow, the western star of Whiz Comics, confronts a mysterious villain called the Knight Hawk who has stolen one of his arrows and is using it against him. After a series of confrontations involving his horse White Wind and various adversaries, Golden Arrow defeats the Knight Hawk threat, though the villain escapes into darkness. The story concludes with Golden Arrow's guest departing his ranch, mentioning that the Knight Hawk has given him nightmares and driven away his dude ranch business, forcing him to return east for peace.
