Wilbur Fox spots a quick way to profit when he discovers youngsters are eager—and willing to pay—for celebrity autographs. Donning borrowed masks and costumes, he impersonates famous actors to fleece the kids, pocketing their quarters while spinning tales about his cut going to a charitable "Actors' Kiddie Fund." But when his gullible partner Goofy Gander learns the truth about where the money's really going, Wilbur's scheme hits an unexpected snag that leaves him with nothing to show for his trouble.

Peter Pigly thinks he's struck gold when he acquires a lazy, rather homely dog from a neighbor—only to find that no one else in town shares his enthusiasm for his new pet. When Goofy Gander the dog catcher mistakes the pooch for a stray and starts pursuing them, Peter and his dog end up in a wild chase full of close calls and clever hiding spots. It's a lighthearted romp about loyalty and affection winning out over looks and brains.

Wilbur Fox is fed up with his paperboy’s habit of tossing the morning paper into impossible spots—like the top of the mailbox or the treetop. So when the boy delivers again, Wilbur takes matters into his own paws, turning the lawn into a chaotic treasure hunt with scattered coins.

Bertie Bear, inspired by the idea that the highest tree-scratcher is the true leader, sets out to prove he can do it too—so he builds a pair of stilts to reach new heights.
