In "Kampf unter dem Silbermond," Adam Strange returns to Rann only to find Alanna missing, setting off a search that leads him to Ariela, the Meerkönigin, who begs for his help against a mechanical menace threatening her underwater realm. As Adam and Ariela are captured and confronted by a menacing robot, the Zeta-Beam flickers out—just as it always does—and Adam vanishes once more. Written by Laurie Sutton and illustrated by Rodin Rodriguez, with inks by Vince Colletta and colors by Jerry Serpe, this 1981 issue features a cover by Dick Giordano, capturing the tension beneath the Silver Moon.
