“Wer Sturm sät…”

In "Wer Sturm sät…", Hector Hammond’s envy of Green Lantern turns dangerously obsessive as he abducts four scientists and accelerates their minds a hundred thousand years using a meteor’s power. Green Lantern, sensing the threat, uses a spare ring to transform Tom Kalmaku into a perfect duplicate of himself—only for the ring to slip from his hand at the critical moment. Written by John Broome and illustrated by Gil Kane with inks by Joe Giella, this 1981 issue from Egmont Ehapa features a cover by Dick Giordano, capturing the tension of a hero’s identity hanging in the balance.
