Written by Tim Seeley and Tom King, with art by Mikel Janín and others, the omnibus includes issues #1–20, the Grayson: Futures End one-shot, and the Secret Origins #8 story. It presents a globe-trotting espionage saga that redefines the former Robin as a super-spy while exploring themes of identity and loyalty within the DC Universe.
In "Who Is Agent 37?", a mysterious James invites Harley, Constantine, Simon, and Azrael to share their memories of a shadowy operative known only as Agent 37. As each recounts their encounter, the line between truth and deception blurs—until James reveals himself as Dick, using a hidden power to erase their recollections. The story ends with him walking away, ready for a new mission alongside Helena.
In "The Charmer," Constantine recounts a tense encounter from his past when he tracked down a string of missing men, only to stumble upon a hidden lair where four vampires were feeding on a victim. Though he struggled to breach the lair and assumed the man was already dead, the victim—Agent 37—surprised him by escaping and swiftly eliminating the vampires. Constantine, ever the skeptic, is both impressed and quietly irritated by the turn of events.
In "The Savior," Azrael recounts his second encounter with Agent 37 during a desperate stand at a refugee camp under siege by the Order of Dumas. When Agent 37 arrives with intentions to steal a holy relic, he stays to fight instead, wielding Azrael’s sword to disable the enemy’s attack vehicle. Together, they hold the line—though the true fate of the relic remains a secret Dick keeps from both Azrael and the Matron.
In "The Gymnast," Harley recounts her unexpected alliance with Agent 37 during a high-stakes heist at a villain memorabilia collector’s party. With precision and flair, the two use their acrobatic skills and clever tactics to bypass laser security and locate a dangerous cache of Joker toxin—though what happens after remains between them.
In "The Superhero," Simon, worn thin from a week of battling relentless parademons, finds an unexpected ally in Agent 37, whose calm presence pushes him to look beyond the fight. As they trace the invaders to a mysterious boomtube, the two must confront the source of the invasion before it’s too late.
