DC's co-headlining duo is front and center on this August 2009 issue, with Green Arrow crouched low on what appears to be a rooftop ledge, arrow in hand and quiver bristling at his back, while Black Canary looms behind him in her signature green-and-fishnet costume, both looking tense and alert. The tagline "Creeping with the Enemy!" sets a mood of uneasy alliance or hidden danger as the two navigate part six of the "Enemies List" arc, written by Andrew Kreisberg with interior art by Mike Norton and Josef Rubinstein. José Ladrönn's cover work gives the scene a gritty, atmospheric warmth that makes this a standout chapter in the series' run.
