Prah'd'gul returns to his home planet of Klordon to find that his father has died and that his brother Luuk plans to take over. Quill is an old friend of Luuk's who has brought the Guardians to Klordon to support his friend. Prah'd'gul believes that Luuk killed his father, and even some of the Guardians agree, so Moondragon uses her powers to expose Luuk as the murderer. But since the people of Klordon want Luuk to be their ruler in spite of his crime, Prah'd'gul destroys the planet in a fit of pique.
