The villain Kacee Dredd is revealed to be behind the attack, and Gunmaster pursues him to stop the threat before Dredd can deliver the fatal shot.
In "Crossbow War," Clay Boone uncovers a ruthless gang leader, Snakehead, who’s hoarding weapons and terrorizing a frontier village. When Bob is attacked and their supply wagon stolen, Clay rallies the townspeople to craft crossbows and explosives in a desperate stand. As Snakehead advances, the town’s resistance ignites — but the real turn comes when Clay and Bob, hidden in the smoke, reclaim their wagon and reveal their true identities as Bullet and Gunmaster.
Gunmaster and Bullet the Gun Boy face off against the deadly Kacee Dredd, whose newly forged gun—crafted by the reclusive Clayboone—seems unbeatable. As Dredd’s cold precision terrorizes the frontier, Gunmaster and his young ally must outwit a trap set by the crooked Bruce Galgon, who’s counting on Dredd’s perfect weapon to eliminate them both.
