When Gunsmoke and his partner Pedro witness an assassination attempt in Skeleton Pass, they uncover a legend that's been simmering for decades—a lost Spanish mine filled with silver dollars buried by smugglers and hidden since an outlaw ambush. After helping a prospector named Pop grubstake his search, Gunsmoke and Pedro head south, only to return and find that ruthless outlaw Luke Short has muscled in on the treasure hunt, forcing Pop to reveal the mine's location. Now Gunsmoke must race against time to stop Short and his gang from claiming the fortune that rightfully belongs to his friend.
Sheriff Wes Bailey has tamed the rowdy frontier town of Hangtown with an iron fist, but when a saloon brawl leaves a man dead, his enemies see their chance—they frame him for the killing and stir up a lynch mob to drive him into the badlands. Now Bailey must clear his name and reclaim his town from the corrupt hands that seized it while he was in hiding.
When Chet Fairchild returns to Powder Valley for a visit, he discovers that rancher Royal Brazos has dammed the Longhorn River, leaving the land parched and forcing desperate cattlemen to sell their holdings at Brazos's price—but the Masked Marvel soon uncovers a government grazing stake that could turn the tables on the ruthless schemer. As tensions escalate between the masked avenger and Brazos's hired guns, Marvel must move fast to expose the truth and save the valley from Brazos's iron grip.
When the banks foreclose on ranches across Cimmarron Valley during the 1800s land panic, Rose Blaisdell joins an outlaw gang planning to steal from the banks and return the money to dispossessed families—only to discover the gang's true intentions are far more selfish. Forced to make a desperate choice between her ideals and survival, Rose sets a trap that turns the tables on the outlaws, but the gang's ruthless leader, Slim Tattle, escapes into the badlands. Now Rose must ride into the notorious Rattlesnake Nest alone to finish what she started and reclaim her name from the outlaw trail.
