Gwandanaland Comics #79
In "The Moth," Joan—named after a man she once saved—receives extraordinary abilities from the Statue of Liberty herself, thrusting her into a fight against threats both foreign and domestic. With powers that let her deflect a bomb and stop a fleeing car, she steps into a role far greater than she ever imagined. Written and drawn by Elmer Wexler, with a striking cover by Tom Hickey, this 2017 issue from Gwandanaland Comics marks a bold new chapter in a quietly rising superhero saga.
