H-E-R-O #20
In "Pieces of Hate: Part 2," Robby Reed follows a chilling trail to Wayne, the man behind the Captain Chaos videos, only to find him surrounded by the bodies of his friends—murdered by a Superman-like serial killer. With the H-E-R-O dial now in the killer’s hands and a new ally, Tony Finch, drawn into the scheme, Robby races to save Andrea Allen, the latest target, as he reaches out to her father, Matt, for help. Written by Will Pfeifer and brought to life by Dale Eaglesham’s sharp interiors, Wade von Grawbadger’s inks, Sno Cone’s vivid colors, and Phil Balsman’s crisp lettering, this tense second chapter of the arc unfolds with escalating dread. The cover by Kelsey Shannon captures the moment’s grim intensity.
