Rip Hunter arrives from 30 years in the future to warn of an enemy named Sarko who has come back in time to change history and eliminate the Green Lantern Corps from existence. Sarko saw the Sinestro Corps get absorbed into the Green Lantern Corps in the future and has come back to prevent that from happening. Having defeated Gorin-Sunn and Space Ape, Sarko sends his Prism Beasts to Mogo to attack the Corps.
