In "Lønn for strevet," Hakkespettene team up to raise funds for their charity by tapping into the legendary Lønnesevje in Andebyparken—only to find themselves in a race against Skrue, Donald, and the Småmeisene, all chasing the same easy payday. With wits and whimsy on the line, the park becomes a stage for a chaotic, comedic showdown over who gets the golden goose.

In "Katastrofal klatretur," the annual climb to the summit of Grønnpraktfjellet takes a dangerous turn when Skrue's modern mining operations threaten Hakkespettenes team mid-ascent. With the mountain's stability compromised, the usual festive climb becomes a race against collapsing terrain and hidden dangers.

When Hakkespettene’s club fund runs dry, they set off on a desert treasure hunt for three gold bars—only to stumble upon a shocking operation: thieves capturing wild horses to sell to a dog food factory.
