From Cazenove and 'Ood Serrière comes this delightfully spooky second volume of Hallow, subtitled Le souffle d'épouvante — "The Breath of Horror." The cover, bathed in moonlit blues, shows a young witch in her pointed hat facing down a towering, flame-wreathed jack-o'-lantern creature, surrounded by a chaotic crowd of scarecrows, glowing pumpkins, a little devil, and a ghostly white creature. Bamboo Édition's 2018 offering looks like a wonderfully eerie Halloween adventure with just the right amount of charm to balance the frights.
