Hap Hazard is a humor anthology featuring Hap, a bumbling character who wins a photo contest and takes his girlfriend Peggy to the Club Palm on Saturday night, only to create chaos when he must also take both girls and they end up in slapstick mishaps. The issue also contains a collection of joke and humorous anecdote filler pages, including stories about a Pullman conductor and a red lantern, a taxi driver and wind, a postal clerk's heavy letter, young Freddy's scissor-cut suit, a boss's jokes, a cab passenger, and various other brief comedic situations involving farmers, efficiency experts, and absurd scenarios.
