The Canyon Codger, a grizzled old dog known for his laziness, is challenged by a group of young hens who accuse him of slacking. He brushes off their complaints with a smirk, then recounts a legendary tale from years ago when he single-handedly drove off a fearsome pack of wolves led by a monstrous wolf named Saw-Tooth, using cunning and a daring move that left the pack fleeing in terror.
