A machine has been feeding itself children, leaving them dead and mutilated. When an imprisoned Deathwish sees a television report about the killings, he (quite civilly) breaks out and goes hunting for the killer. He enlists Hardware's help, but Curt is summarily captured by the Club-Haus Kidz, a group of meta-human children. They plan to "enhance" Hardware, with or without his permission.
