Having successfully completed the set of trials imposed on her by the Lords of Order and Chaos, Harley is transformed into their Angel of Retribution, but she rejects the commission because of her mother's death. She gets one more chance to speak with her mother's spirit and finally accepts it, and then insists that Mirand'r should be the Lords' next Angel.
