Heart Attack #3 from Image/Skybound delivers a vivid ensemble of superpowered young rebels — two figures clash mid-air above the group, one wreathed in fire and the other lunging with crackling fists, while four more teens look on from below with a mix of defiance and cool detachment. Eric Zawadzki's cover art captures the series' kinetic energy beautifully, with Michael Garland's colors bathing the scene in warm amber flames and misty blues. Writer Shawn Kittelsen's crew of Variants looks like a team on the edge of something big, and this 2020 issue is a great reason to dive in.
