Heartbreak Comics #[nn]
"Heart Break Comics No. 1" delivers a delightfully absurd slice of 1984 indie oddity, written and drawn entirely by David Boswell. In this self-published tale, Laszlo, the self-proclaimed "Great Slavic Lover," finds himself entangled in a scandalous affair with the wife of Reid Fleming, the World's Toughest Milkman, setting off a chain of escalating misadventures. The story takes a surreal turn when Laszlo encounters Constance—the woman of his dreams—leading to a chaotic mix of lust, betrayal, and poultry-related consequences, all rendered in Boswell’s distinctive, hand-crafted style. The cover by David Boswell captures the comic’s offbeat tone with a striking, full-color illustration.
