When Sourpuss attempts to demonstrate his marksmanship by shooting a lock off a door, things go hilariously awry—especially when the bullet takes out Susie’s dog’s doghouse, setting off a furious response from both Susie and her dog.

Heckle and Jeckle try to cash in on the latest self-help craze by selling imaginary meals to help people lose weight—using nothing but a book on the power of imagination. Their scheme goes off the rails when customers catch on, leading to a very real trip to jail for the mischievous magpies.

When Papa Bear is told he needs peace and quiet, the household chaos only grows—especially after Terry Bears and Butch bring home a police dog. The dog’s loud barking and relentless vigilance seem to ruin any hope of calm, but when he finally catches a burglar, the boys realize silence might not be the real answer after all.

When Dimwit sets his mind on having a turkey dinner, Heckle and Jeckle’s well-intentioned help only lands them all kicked out of the butcher shop. Determined to make it happen, they convince Dimwit to hunt his own turkey—though the plan quickly goes sideways. After a chaotic encounter with a skunk, Dimwit decides the easiest way to enjoy a turkey dinner is to skip the hunt altogether and head straight for a restaurant.
