Hector thinks Friday the 13th is bringing him nothing but trouble, so he races through cramming for an algebra study date with Bonnie, hoping to finish fast and spend the afternoon with Mona instead—but every superstition he encounters seems determined to make his day a disaster. As bad luck piles on bad luck, Hector discovers that maybe the real jinx wasn't the date on the calendar at all.
Hector and his pals seek shelter from a sudden storm in what appears to be a deserted house, only to find themselves separated in the darkness when the lights mysteriously go out. As fear and confusion mount—and one of the group stumbles upon what seems to be a grim discovery—Hector and the others must navigate the creepy building to reunite and escape. A tale of teenage nerves and late-1950s spookiness that trades actual danger for something far more embarrassing.
Ziggy wants to impress the girls, and his pal Alf convinces him that losing weight is the key—after all, the movie stars and smooth operators always seem to be slim. When Ziggy agrees to go on a diet, his friends put him to the test, but his love of food proves to be a stronger force than his determination.
Hector heads to the beach for a relaxing day with his friend Foggy, only to have the twins Willy and Nilly show up uninvited—and manage to wreak havoc when they insist on joining a water-skiing adventure. What starts as a simple boat ride turns into pure chaos as the mischievous pair take control, leaving Hector to deal with the wild and hilarious consequences.
Hector's got two tickets to the Saturday night dance and a plan to impress Mona—until she reveals she's baby-sitting for a troublemaker named Melvin. What should've been a cozy evening alone turns into pure chaos when the kid decides to play Indian scout, turning Hector and Mona's attempts to wrangle him into a wild indoor game of cat-and-mouse that leaves the apartment in shambles.
