The second chapter of Ers and Dugomier's Hell School arrives with a cover that sets an unsettling tone: three uneasy teenagers — one with striking blue hair — loom large in the foreground, while a solitary, bald figure in a dark suit stands before the foreboding "Institut de l'Excellence." Subtitled Orphelins, this 2013 Le Lombard release promises a story where youth and authority are locked in quiet but charged opposition. If the moody crimson sky and that too-calm administrator are any indication, life at this particular school is anything but ordinary.
