Hercule #1

“Les chaînes brisées”

In the shattered aftermath of a global war, Hercules breaks free from centuries of torment, chained to a lonely rock in the ocean. Drawn to a young blind boy named Kevin and his loyal dog Basil, he vows to confront his brother Ares—the God of War now entwined with humanity’s endless conflict. Written by Gerry Conway and brought to life by José Luis García-López’s dynamic art, with inks by Wally Wood and Al Sirois, this first issue of *Hercule* launches a mythic tale of redemption and rage. The cover, also by García-López, captures the moment of liberation with haunting intensity.
