A trio of criminals have been sent by a mob boss to kill informants in the witness protection program who have been hidden back in time. Nathan, the F.B.I. computer geek who has been keeping tabs on the informants, realizes they are being killed by modern weaponry and makes a report. Under-Secretary of Defense, James Hall, decides to send Nathan back to colonial America to bring back the last witness who is a target. Nathan is horrified by the mission as he is not only NOT a field agent but he is also black.
