Volume 3 of Hikari no Hako (Light Box), published by Shogakukan's Flowers imprint in 2023, presents a quietly striking cover: a young woman with flowing pink hair and a soft yellow dress appears to float above a twilight highway overpass, a glittering cityscape spread out beneath her. Creator 衿沢世衣子 (Seiko Erizawa) brings a dreamy, almost otherworldly atmosphere to this image, balancing the warmth of the figure against the cool blues of the night sky. It's a beautifully composed volume from one of manga's more thoughtful voices in the Flowers line.
