This anthology features two stories: "The Blue Streak," in which the costumed hero must stop an important engagement to change clothes and respond to a radio station alert, then flies through the night to Pellera to investigate a situation at a radio station. "Secret Agent Z-2" follows a federal agent assigned to escort Professor Holley, whose defense battery experiments have been approved by the War Department, safely to Houston where he will complete work on a potent new weapon; the agent must guard Holley day and night as they travel. In the second story, the agent and professor arrive in the capital of Scandinavia (Ido) where they learn the beloved president has fled, and they become entangled in a plot involving Moslay's forces attempting to enter the harbor and sink the nation's vessels in a desperate military scheme.
