Lord Haruki sents a group, led by Toho and a reluctant Takeshi, to find and bring back Genshi, dead or alive. Meanwhile, Genshi and Nishiro learn the whereabouts of the Elder One. Ambushed by Haruki's force, Nishiro dies protecting Genshi. Genshi is forced to release his Tengu on them, and ends the fight killing Toho. Takeshi and Genshi talk things out. They both bury Nishiro and head for Iga village to deal with Lord Haruki.
