# "Smash-Up" The main story follows Clint Curtis and the Road Knights as they become involved with a damaged race car. After a collision between a red vehicle and a yellow sports car, the team acquires the wrecked yellow car and begins rebuilding it, with plans to enter it in a hot-rod competition. During a test run at high speed, the car experiences a tire blowout and crashes, but the driver survives and is taken to a hospital. Clint learns that the car's owner, a man named Joe Blanco, was not seriously injured, and discovers that hot-rodding teaches valuable discipline and work habits for young people.
