In "Men i morgen... skal solen dø!", Bruce Banner is cured of the gamma radiation that once transformed him into the Hulk—only to discover the cure has triggered a chain reaction that destabilizes the sun. As Earth faces an impending cosmic crisis, Jarella arrives on Earth, her arrival tied to the growing threat.

In "Hulk Basen," the Hulk, en route home from Latveria, finds himself stranded in the Sahara Desert, where he stumbles upon a movie set. The director sees a chance to use the giant green warrior in his film, but his plans unravel when the Hulk transforms into Bruce Banner—only to be abducted by aliens observing a gladiatorial contest. Left to face the Colossus alone, the Hulk must survive the arena while back at Gamma Base, General Ross reveals his new military installation aimed at capturing him.

In "Kap og Ulvekoblet... finder sammen igen!", Captain America attends a reunion of the Howlers when Hydra strikes, kidnapping Happy Sam and seizing a B-52 bomber with nuclear capabilities. The Supreme Hydra, revealed to be Baron Strucker, vanishes with his prize, setting Cap on a urgent pursuit.
