In "Første del: 'Hulks tilblivelse'," scientist Bruce Banner narrowly escapes a catastrophic nuclear explosion that claims the life of a young boy he tries to save—only to be overwhelmed by gamma radiation. The blast alters him irrevocably, setting the stage for his transformation into the Hulk, a creature of immense power that emerges each night as the sun sets.
