Barry Chase uses Ella Taylor to get to know her rich cousin, Janice. Deciding to get away from familiar places, Ella leaves to visit her aunt and uncle. Hurt and angry, Ella drives furiously and the car crashes into a tree. Dan Mathews rescues her and she ends up in the hospital blind, with a broken arm. The doctors can't find anything wrong with her eyes and tell Ella that only she can cure herself. Dan helps her recover and Ella falls in love with him. Then one day her sight returns and Ella is surprised when she sees Dan's face for the first time.
