In a remote Indian bazaar, Ibis purchases a mysterious bracelet for a princess, unaware it’s enchanted to summon her to a deadly jungle sacrifice. As the ritual begins, Ibis races to rescue her, only to lose his magical ibistick and face a horde of snake worshippers—where his wits and magic must outwit a sorcerer’s spell before it’s too late.

Ibis discovers a mysterious incense pot that, when lit, awakens the ancient sorcerer Karjak—but the real danger comes when four magical playing cards, each representing a suit, begin to move on their own. As the Ace of Hearts, now in the form of a card, hides in plain sight, Ibis must race to find it before Karjak fully returns to human form and resumes his evil plans.
