Joe Kelly and Ken Niimura's charming series reaches its eighth issue with a cover that perfectly captures the book's playful energy — two cartoon creatures ride bursting stars above a cheerful cityscape, one wielding what appears to be a mop or broom like a weapon mid-leap. Niimura's two-tone art style (deep navy title treatment against rosy pinks on a soft green ground) gives the whole thing the feel of a storybook that secretly has a lot on its mind.
