Betty survives Skaar's attack and becomes Red She-Hulk again. Aided by the freed geniuses, Banner takes control of the Intelligencia's Cathexis Ray so he can draw back all the energy used to create the new "Hulks" into himself. The procedure nearly fails, but Samson sacrifices his life to help Bruce succeed; the transformed heroes and soldiers are restored to normal and the massive absorption of energy transforms Bruce into the Hulk again. Skaar takes one look at him, draws his sword and grins, "Finally."
