This anthology issue contains at least two stories: "Long Bow and Manzar the White Indian," in which unified tribes gather at ancient caves while Long Bow and the mysterious Manzar work to prevent conflict, culminating in a battle where Manzar celebrates victory with the "Blackfoot Battle-Chant"; and "Orphan of the Storm" by Emila Jayne, featuring a young orphan named Blue Feather who is tested by his tribe, learning to ride wild horses and treat injuries, while later confronting an enemy and using a battle-chant to call a buffalo stampede that defeats his foe and aids his friend.
