Indrajal Comics #51
In "The River Pirates," the Phantom takes on a gang of ruthless river raiders who've turned the waterways into a highway of fire and plunder. With the aid of a local guide, he turns their own crimes against them—leading the pirates back along the path of their destruction, forcing them to rebuild what they've torn down, before handing them over to the Jungle Patrol. Written by Bill Harris and illustrated by Bill Lignante, this 1967 adventure blends action and justice in a tale that’s as much about accountability as it is about daring feats.
