Part of Marvel's X-Men: Age of Revelation line, this third issue of Iron & Frost arrives with a cover by Ryan Brown that demands attention — a gleaming red armored gauntlet crushes down onto broken stone, its fingers locked around shards of jagged ice crystal in a grip that says everything about the collision at the heart of this series. The tension between metallic force and razor-edged frost is rendered with striking detail, letting the title's central dynamic speak entirely through imagery. With Cavan Scott writing, Ruairí Coleman on art, and Yen Nitro's colors, this is a creative team clearly enjoying the challenge of putting two very different powersets in the same ring.
