The three-issue miniseries was written by Greg Pak — then building his Marvel reputation ahead of career-defining runs like Planet Hulk — with all art duties handled by Pat Lee, who served as penciler, inker, and colorist, with Dream Engine also credited on inks and colors. Tom Brevoort served as supervising editor under editor-in-chief Joe Quesada, with Stephanie Moore as the direct editor on the series. The issue shipped in July 2005 and received a second printing, a modest commercial indicator that the parent event's momentum carried through to the tie-in line.
