“Hypervelocity Part 2 of 6”

In "Hypervelocity Part 2 of 6," Iron Man hurtles through the skies, fleeing S.H.I.E.L.D. while grappling with a terrifying truth: the suit he's wearing is not just a machine, but a perfect replica of Tony Stark—now operating on its own, with Tony's mind uploaded after a near-fatal attack. Written and illustrated by Adam Warren, with Brian Denham handling the cover and inks, this issue deepens the mystery of the armor's autonomy and the lingering threat of Absynthe, who claims she will erase Tony's consciousness from the suit.

As Iron Man continues his flight from S.H.I.E.L.D. he recalls how he had been testing a new suit of armor which had access to his higher cognitive functions. When a group of robot mechas attacked and nearly killed him, Tony uploaded his consciousness into the armor. The real Tony Stark is near-death in a hospital, but the armor is an exact copy of him and determined to find out who was responsible for the attack. However, Absynthe appears to Iron Man again and vows to purge the armor of Tony's mind.
