JLA: Incarnations #6

Dec 2001 · DC · 3.50 USD; 5.75 CAD
“Buddies”

In "Buddies," the JLA faces a bizarre diplomatic crisis when Colonel Harjavti's nation of Biayla becomes a haven for supervillains—prompting Booster Gold, Blue Beetle, and a reckless plan to rob it while posing as criminals. The mission goes sideways fast, leaving the duo in custody and the League scrambling to rescue them while containing the threat of a rogue villain enclave. Written by John Ostrander and illustrated by Val Semeiks, with inks by Prentis Rollins and colors by John Kalisz and Heroic Age, the issue's cover by Semeiks and Rollins captures the absurd tension of the moment.
