# John Wayne Adventure Comics #7 The issue contains two stories. "The Stranger's Revenge" features John Wayne investigating a ranch murder involving Henry Marker, a man seeking revenge for a doctor's death. Wayne discovers that Dr. Murdock fixed Bonanza's broken arm and left an envelope with a receipt, but the envelope has disappeared, and Marker's men killed Bonanza to prevent the truth from emerging. In the second story, Wayne must quell a mutiny aboard a ship after being shanghaied by a crew; he defeats the captain in hand-to-hand combat and proposes they settle their dispute by fighting one-on-one, with the winner determining the ship's fate and destination.
