Johnny and journalist Blitz Martin are guests of Side-Pocket Slim, who now owns a nightclub in South America called Cafe Gourmet, specializing in exotic dishes flown in from all parts of the world. But Hazard soon learns that Slim is in partnership with Lady Mist, who entertains as a singer in his club. Mist has a scheme in the works that involves smuggling gem thief "Gloves Diamond" out of the country, for a price. An arrangement is made, and Johnny's been hired on as pilot, not knowing that "Gloves" will be his cargo as he flies to Casablanca. Also aboard is Hardhat, hired on to aid Johnny.
