“Dödens skepp”

In "Dödens skepp," Jonah Hex and Mei Ling flee to the opium-smuggling ship Malay Tiger, bound for America—only to face a deadly outbreak of cholera aboard. After the ship founders, the two survive in a lifeboat, only to be rescued and separated on American soil, where Mei Ling disappears into the unknown. Written by Michael Fleisher and Bengt Sahlberg, with art by Dick Ayers and inks by Tony DeZuniga, this 1985 Semic issue features a haunting cover by Ross Andru and Dick Giordano.
