“Power Trip, Part IV of IV”

In "Power Trip, Part IV of IV," Geoff Johns and Amanda Conner deliver a pivotal moment for Power Girl as the Psycho-Pirate reveals her hidden origin across a shattered multiverse. With art by Conner and Palmiotti, and colors by Mounts, the issue unfolds as Power Girl learns she’s not just from another Earth—but the last survivor of a Justice Society that once stood in a world erased by the Anti-Monitor. The cover by Conner and Palmiotti captures the weight of that revelation.

The Psycho-Pirate tells Power Girl how the two of them are the only survivors of a parallel universe and that she came from the Krypton in that universe to its Earth and became a member of the Justice Society of America there before the universes were combined when the Anti-Monitor attacked. The Psycho-Pirate surmises he survived the re-writing of history because he was with the Anti-Monitor and that Power Girl survived because she still has some tie remaining in this new universe. The villain sends Power Girl off to tell everyone what she has learned before the coming crisis.
