Jughead #44
In "He Who Laughs, Lasts," Jughead takes on a catering gig for Mr. Lodge, only to have Archie’s culinary mishap turn a dinner party into a chaotic splash. With smoke-filled chaos and guests blissfully misinterpreting the mayhem as a surprise poolside affair, Jughead finds himself at the center of a situation far more entertaining than he ever planned. Written by Hal Smith and illustrated by Stan Goldberg, with inks by Rudy Lapick and lettering by Bill Yoshida, the cover by Stan Goldberg and Mike Esposito captures the absurdity perfectly.
